I’m Anthony, an AIDA and Molchanovs Instructor Trainer, and I’m lucky enough to call the stunning island of Xiaoliuqiu, off Taiwan’s west coast, my home. My amazing wife and I run VD Freediving here—it’s been our little dream come true.

For the past 10 years, freediving has been my world. It’s taken me on an unforgettable journey—from the serene waters of Bali, to the vibrant Philippines, the wild beauty of Tonga, the tropical paradise of Roatán, and finally, the legendary white sands of Dean’s Blue Hole at Vertical Blue.

Along the way, I’ve met so many incredible people and made lifelong friends. This journey has been nothing short of transformative, teaching me not just about freediving but about the ocean and myself.

All that I’ve learned and experienced inspired me to write those books. My hope is that they’ll help, inspire, and guide you on your own incredible freediving adventure.
